The Refurb Property Renovation team is proud to have been rigorously assessed by Which? in 2016, demonstrating that our skills, experience and services meet the high standards required to gain the accreditation. So, what was Refurb assessed on and why does it matter to you?

As reputable property renovation experts in Oxfordshire, we wanted to back up our claims of high service standards with an instantly recognisable badge of trust. We went through various stages of assessment, including:
Credit report: Every part of our business was looked at to ensure we are 100% above board, professional, safe and trusted property renovation experts. Our financial conduct was assessed and judged to meet the standards required.
Customer satisfaction: Although site visits were not carried out, we were required to provide a number of contact details for our customers, who were then randomly selected for a short interview.
Business procedures: Which? checked how we manage our paperwork and policies to make sure we have our customer’s best interests in mind.
Interview and assessment: This was the big meeting, where a professional trading standards representative visited our premises to see us in action. Our admin files were checked, our telephone manner was observed and our site cleanliness and safety procedures recorded.
Report: Within two weeks of starting the process, we received a report outlining the very few actions that we needed to take in order to qualify.
Endorsement: Having passed all the checks we were able to join the scheme, agreeing to the strict Code of Conduct.

- Conduct our services within the scope of our expertise and with upmost professionalism, within agreed timescales
- Comply with the Which? rules of providing quotations for work, including; written quotes, detailing all works, cost breakdown, payment options agreed in advance of work and with fair terms
- Account for all payments received, and request payment only when the work is complete.
