Project Description

Vicarage Road

WHAT THE CUSTOMER ASKED US TO DO:

Full renovation, including relocating the bathroom from the ground floor to the first floor. The change in layout allowing for the kitchen to be extended, creating an open plan kitchen dinner with bifold doors out to the garden. In addition add a Dorma on the second floor to incorporate a second bedroom with en-suite.

WHAT WE DID:

We started this project in January 2020 and all was going well until the Covid-19 Pandemic. Refurb Property Renovations were able to organise the necessary different trades to be on site in a Covid Secure way in order to keep the job going and went to great lengths to source the necessary materials in this challenging time. At Refurb we realise that half the battle of doing a job well is the organisation of multiple trades and is all part of the Project Management service we offer with all the jobs we work on.

WHAT THE CUSTOMER SAID:

An outstanding firm. This was a major rebuild which I had been mucked around quite a bit by the guy who drew the plans. From the very first phone call with Rebecca in the Refurb office I was impressed by their professionalism and overall management. Matt, who oversaw the whole project was quite outstanding. He was always ready to go the extra mile and, during the Covid-19 lockdown period, still managed to get people working individually on site wherever possible to keep the project ongoing. He had suffered recent personal loss but could not have been more helpful in sorting everything out. At the end, the Oxford City Planning Department threw in a curve ball which meant that a sprinkler system had to be retro-fitted in the kitchen. Not only did Refurb do this incredibly quickly so that my tenants were still able to move in, they did not charge me for all of their additional work. I could not be happier with their work.
