Meet the team
Refurb was founded by David Simmonds and Matthew Boyd, with a mission to bring new levels of service to clients by exceeding their expectations. We pride ourselves on making a difference to clients by the personal way we deliver all projects that we work on; from the support staff in the office to the teams on site. Refurb have many years of experience in the building trade and understand not only what’s involved in delivering a successful project but the challenges and concerns of clients, both domestic and commercial.

THE TEAM
Matthew Boyd – Director
Matthew has worked in the building industry for 15 years, and Matthew’s experience has largely been in the commercial sector. Matthew has great vision and is well able to solve challenges to ensure clients dreams come to fruition – also key values seen within Refurb. Matthew is married with 2 young children and is the manager of a Charlbury football team.

Lydia Rayner – Operations Manager
Lydia will usually be your first point of contact and understands that excellent communication is essential throughout any interactions with Refurb. She previously worked for a well renowned Oxfordshire Letting Agent and was one of our regular customers. When Lydia decided it was time for a change, she became part of the Refurb Team. She has two dogs Holly and Puppy, who can usually be found keeping her company in the office and give all visitors a warm welcome.

Natalie works alongside Lydia, focussing mainly on Refurb Electrical, aiming to ensure all clients receive the highest level of response and service.
Natalie (married to Matt) works part time as she has 2 young children to run around after!
